The question of what, or who, is Nerdy McFly is difficult to answer. On its most basic level, Nerdy McFly is a state of mind. It is an ability to recognize right from wrong and to live accordingly. Though a simple definition, this elemental base of life dovetails itself throughout our existence. Above all else, there is a balance or equilibrium that is present; maintaining this balance in life is crucial.

In the name “Nerdy McFly,” that balance is present. There is no pigeonhole or generalization that anyone is forced to succumb to. You can be a nerd without being “a nerd.” You can answer questions in class (and get them right) without having to alienate yourself from a social scene. You can be “fly” and still use your brain on an everyday basis. Far too often, it is drilled into our minds that if we make a decision to be someone or to do something, there are automatically other entities that we must exclude ourselves from, or vice versa.

This is the aforementioned balance in life that, if nothing else, will allow you to be a more knowledgeable human being. The idea of Nerdy McFly is pervasive throughout the different facets and phases of your life. It is how you dress, how you act, and how you think.
